Worth it for your operation?
Pros
- Visual pipeline and automations among the best in general CRM
- Large marketplace for e-sign and messaging apps
- Fast to learn for producers from other industries
- Works when jobs already live in Jobber, Housecall Pro, or ServiceTitan
Watch-outs
- Zero native job/quote/membership product shape
- No permanent free plan — trial then paid USD seats
- WhatsApp and SMS depend on marketplace apps (feature stays false)
- Not a substitute for field service software
Score by criterion
The dark mark on each bar is the average of the 11 systems in this ranking. Criteria with higher weight pull the overall score more.
A live job and dispatch board — schedule, assign techs, and see today’s work without a parallel spreadsheet.
Quotes, estimates, or a pricebook inside the product — good/better/best or flat-rate — not a PDF from another app.
Maintenance agreements, service plans, or memberships that renew on the customer record — not only a won job or a one-off visit.
Native SMS or messaging inbox on the customer or job card, with team history. WhatsApp Business API also counts. One-way “on my way” blasts and marketplace apps do not.
Public plan in USD, trial, and what sits outside the monthly fee. Mandatory add-ons for day-to-day dispatch work lower the score.
English UI, job and membership vocabulary, and time until a CSR or owner-operator can dispatch without a months-long implementation project.

Editorial analysis
Pipedrive in detail
Pipedrive is the CRM a sales director brings from another sector. The pipeline is excellent. Nothing in the product knows what a work order is.
Who it is for
Contractors that already bought an FSM and only need a deal board for marketing leads — or teams asking “should we just use a normal CRM?” The ranking answer is in the scores.
What drives the score
Only general pipeline strengths help. Jobs, quotes, memberships stay low on purpose.
How we read the sources
Based on pipedrive.com and the public pricing page.
Frequently asked questions
Can Pipedrive replace Jobber or FieldEdge?
As a BD funnel, yes. As operations with jobs, quotes, and memberships, no. Keep the FSM as system of record.
Why isn’t marketplace WhatsApp native?
Same rule as everywhere on bestCRM: marketplace modules do not count as a native inbox on the customer or job record.
