Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
Enterprise financial-services CRM with published FSC editions. Sales Core is industry CRM at $325/user/month. Policy lifecycle (Digital Insurance) and insurance-brokerage commissions/servicing are higher editions or add-ons — so those flags stay false on the Core SKU this profile scores.

Worth it for your operation?
Pros
- Public FSC price grid in USD (Core $325, Advanced $500, Max $700 per user per month, annual)
- Industry data model for financial services, including insurance lines of business on the marketing site
- Insurance Brokerages SKU (commissions, agency billing, policy servicing) is named — on Advanced and Max
- Huge Salesforce ecosystem if the firm already lives there
Watch-outs
- Core is not an AMS; Digital Insurance is a $180,000-class add-on (included only on Max)
- Implementation is an enterprise program, not a producer weekend
- Native two-way SMS on the policy card is not what Sales Core is
- Easy to demo “Salesforce for insurance” and still be missing the policy ledger
Score by criterion
The dark mark on each bar is the average of the 12 systems in this ranking. Criteria with higher weight pull the overall score more.
Policy records — number, coverage, carrier, and status — without a parallel spreadsheet or a second system of record.
Commission tracking, splits, or carrier-statement reconciliation in the same product as the policy — not a sibling SKU or a spreadsheet.
Renewal workflow, alerts, and retention on the in-force book — not only a “won” stage or a new-business funnel.
Native SMS or messaging inbox on the client or policy card, with team history. WhatsApp Business API also counts. Portal-only chat and marketplace apps do not.
Public plan in USD, trial, and what sits outside the monthly fee. Mandatory add-ons for day-to-day AMS work lower the score.
English UI, policy and commission vocabulary, and time until a producer or CSR can work without a months-long implementation project.

Editorial analysis
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud in detail
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is the enterprise insurance CRM SKU, not the default independent AMS. Sales Core publishes $325/user/month billed annually. Policy admin and brokerage commissions live on other editions.
Who it is for
Carriers, national brokers, and shops already paying for Salesforce. A 15-person independent should not start here.
What drives the score
Pipeline is real. Domain flags stay false on Core on purpose — that is the educational point versus Epic or AgencyBloc. Price is mid-low: the grid is public, the number is large, and the AMS-shaped SKUs cost extra. Curve is a platform project.
How we read the sources
Based on salesforce.com/financial-services and the FSC pricing page (Core/Advanced/Max, Digital Insurance, Insurance Brokerages).
Frequently asked questions
Why are policies and commissions false if Salesforce sells Digital Insurance?
Sibling-SKU rule. This profile scores FSC Sales Core, the published $325 starting edition. Digital Insurance and Insurance Brokerages are called out as Advanced/Max or add-on SKUs on the pricing page.
Can FSC replace Applied Epic?
Some large brokerages run Salesforce beside or instead of an AMS after a custom program. Out of the box, Core is not a carrier-download AMS. Treat it as enterprise CRM until the quote includes the insurance SKUs.
