Score by criterion
The dark mark on each bar is the average of the 8 CRMs in this ranking. Criteria with higher weight pull the overall score more.
A deal or opportunity board you can run on the free plan without upgrading to see stages.
A rule, sequence, or autoresponder that fires on its own on the $0 plan. Task reminders alone do not count.
Send or sync email inside the product, plus a sales report or dashboard beyond the pipeline board — all on the free plan.
Native SMS or messaging inbox on the contact or deal on the free plan. WhatsApp Business API on free also counts. Marketplace apps, browser extensions, and paid-plan-only channels do not.
How far the permanent $0 plan goes on users, contacts, and storage before you must pay. An expiring trial does not count as a ceiling.
How quickly a small team can put contacts and deals into daily use on the free plan without a consultant.

Editorial analysis
Bitrix24 in detail
Bitrix24’s free plan is a full digital workplace with a basic CRM inside. Ceiling can be excellent; the free CRM feature set is intentionally thin.
Who it is for
Teams that want chat, tasks, and a deal board in one free login and will accept complexity. Pure sales teams that need sequences and email sync on $0 get more from Zoho or Attio.
What drives the score
Ceiling is the story (unlimited users/contacts per FAQ/help). Pipeline is present. Automation, email/reporting, messaging, and API stay false on free per the paid-feature ladder. Learning curve is the penalty for the suite.
How we read the sources
Based on bitrix24.com/prices (Free vs Basic/Professional feature lists + FAQ) and Bitrix24 help articles on free plan features and CRM limits.
Frequently asked questions
Is Bitrix24 Free really unlimited users?
The pricing FAQ says the free plan lets you add an unlimited number of users with no charge. The same pricing page’s plan table labels Free as “for 1–2 users.” We score the ceiling from the FAQ’s unlimited-users claim and call out the conflict — confirm the limit shown inside your account before you onboard a large team.
Why are automation and WhatsApp false?
On the public pricing page, WhatsApp integration and email integration appear from Basic; sales automation and analytics appear on Professional. This vertical only marks what the free plan includes.
