AgencyZoom
Sales CRM built for insurance producers — pipelines, AMS integration, renewal automation, and two-way texting. The vendor’s own FAQ says it does not replace the AMS. Independent plans publish Essential $149, Growth $199, and Pro $349 per month for up to seven seats.

Worth it for your operation?
Pros
- Public USD tiers with a 14-day trial and seven seats bundled
- Insurance-specific sales suite (pipelines, producer goals, winback, Google reviews)
- Renewal automation on mid/high independent plans
- iPhone and Android app called out as a product pillar
Watch-outs
- Explicitly not an AMS — no native policy book, carrier download, or commission recon
- Comparative quoting is rater *integration*, not a native engine
- Two-way texting is listed as an integration on the pricing grid — still credited as vendor messaging, not Zapier
- Extra seats beyond seven need sales
Score by criterion
The dark mark on each bar is the average of the 12 systems in this ranking. Criteria with higher weight pull the overall score more.
Policy records — number, coverage, carrier, and status — without a parallel spreadsheet or a second system of record.
Commission tracking, splits, or carrier-statement reconciliation in the same product as the policy — not a sibling SKU or a spreadsheet.
Renewal workflow, alerts, and retention on the in-force book — not only a “won” stage or a new-business funnel.
Native SMS or messaging inbox on the client or policy card, with team history. WhatsApp Business API also counts. Portal-only chat and marketplace apps do not.
Public plan in USD, trial, and what sits outside the monthly fee. Mandatory add-ons for day-to-day AMS work lower the score.
English UI, policy and commission vocabulary, and time until a producer or CSR can work without a months-long implementation project.

Editorial analysis
AgencyZoom in detail
AgencyZoom is the producer CRM, not the filing cabinet. Public independent pricing starts at $149/month (Essential) with seven users; Allstate single-location publishes $99/month. Keep the AMS.
Who it is for
Growth-stage P&C shops that already run Epic, EZLynx, HawkSoft, or AMS360 and need pipelines, producer scoreboards, and renewal cadences. Captive Allstate/Farmers tracks have their own published tiers.
What drives the score
Price, curve, pipeline, and renewals are the win. Policies, commissions, and quoting stay low on purpose — that is the educational point versus an AMS.
How we read the sources
Based on agencyzoom.com, the pricing page (independent $149 / $199 / $349 and Allstate $99 / $129, seven seats, AMS FAQ), and the signup plan list.
Frequently asked questions
Does AgencyZoom replace EZLynx or HawkSoft?
No. AgencyZoom’s pricing FAQ states it is an extension to your AMS. Policy downloads and accounting stay in the management system.
Why is the policy book false if it syncs with an AMS?
Sync is not a native policy system of record. Same rule as marketplace modules: the AMS holds the book; AgencyZoom holds the pipeline.
