HawkSoft vs AgencyBloc

These are not substitutes. AgencyBloc AMS+ is the health/life/Medicare system with native texting and compliance. HawkSoft is the P&C policy and commissions AMS. Line of business decides.

HawkSoft

7.1
Fairout of 10

Family-owned P&C AMS with personal and commercial policy management, carrier download, commission processing, retention alerts, and E&O-minded documentation. Rating arrives via partner integrations. No public seat price; the sales agreement is framed as 30-day, not a long lock-in.

Fairout of 10

AMS+ is AgencyBloc’s health-and-benefits agency management system — clients, policies, lead pipeline, HIPAA/HITRUST/SOC 2, Scope of Appointment, and native texting. Commissions+ and Quote+ are separately packaged sibling products, so those flags stay false on this AMS+ reading.

Editorial verdict

How to choose between them

Do not pick between these as if they were the same product.

AgencyBloc if the book is Medicare, ACA, group benefits, or life and you need SOA, HIPAA, and SMS on the AMS. Commissions and group quoting may still be Commissions+ / Quote+. HawkSoft if the book is personal and commercial P&C and you need downloads and commission statements in the management system.

A multiline shop may end up with both — or Epic for mixed P&C and benefits. The duel exists so the ranking does not pretend one AMS fits every license.
